Welcome to Serenity on the Water. By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Services
Serenity on the Water provides private boat tours, captain-for-hire services, boat lessons, boat relocation, and ashes-at-sea memorial services. All trips are operated by Captain William Brackett, a licensed Master Captain (25 Ton with Towing Endorsement).
2. Reservations & Payments
- Reservations are required in advance and may be made through our secure booking partner, FareHarbor.
- Payment is required to confirm your booking.
- Prices are subject to change but will be confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Customer Cancellation: Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled trip will receive a full refund.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the trip are non-refundable.
- Weather & Safety Cancellations: Trips may be rescheduled or canceled at the captain’s discretion due to severe weather or unsafe conditions. If we must cancel for these reasons, you will receive a full refund or may reschedule at no additional cost.
4. Passenger Guidelines
- Passenger capacity is determined by the boat being used and must comply with the vessel’s U.S. Coast Guard rating and safety regulations.
- Children are welcome and must wear life jackets at all times while onboard.
- No illegal substances or disruptive behavior are permitted.
- Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but glass containers are not permitted.
5. Assumption of Risk
Boating involves inherent risks, including but not limited to weather changes, wildlife encounters, and water-related activities. By booking with Serenity on the Water, you acknowledge these risks and agree to hold harmless Captain William Brackett and Serenity on the Water from any liability related to injury, loss, or damage.
6. Safety Policy
- All trips follow U.S. Coast Guard safety requirements.
- Life jackets are provided for all passengers.
- The captain has the authority to end or alter any trip for safety reasons.
7. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is collected only for booking and communication purposes. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Changes to Terms
Serenity on the Water reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
